We ordered a variety of dishes from JD Thai and everything was absolutely delicious! The curry puff had a perfectly crispy exterior with a flavorful filling that really stood out. The fish cakes were soft and tender, and paired beautifully with the tangy, tasty dipping sauce. The Pad Thai had a lovely balance of sweetness, with what I think was crushed peanuts adding a great texture and nutty flavor. It was sweet, savory, and just right. The Pad Ba Mee and Hokkien noodles were also fantastic – full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Overall, it was soooo good! Highly recommend JD Thai if you're craving delicious, satisfying Thai food.

The food is very reasonably priced, portion sizes are of an average size and the taste is outstanding. Coconut rice is the bomb. Red curry has great spice to it. GOTO Thai restaurant on the peninsula.

We've been to several Thai places in Brisbane and Gold Coast and this is the one we keep coming back to and comparing all the others against. It remains by far our favourite Thai restaurant (and one of our favourite restaurants overall). Many thanks to the hardworking owners and staff for the consistently great food and service over the years!

The family and I went to JD Thai today for lunch and I have to say it was great an overall fantastic experience that you can take anyone from a family dining experience to going on a date with that special someone. I could have kept eating and eating. Food was promptly brought out did not have to wait too long even though they were busy. The only downside to my experience was we ordered 2 steamed rices and they did not have enough and after the fact that we ordered it and then the chef came out and said they don't have enough steamed rice. They only had enough for one serving. If this is the case then we should not be charged if you the chef restaurant has to make the change not the customer fault after the fact because at the time of ordering we were not told there was not enough. What should have happened to keep all happy charge the fried rice as it was a forced change by the restruant charge it as steamed rice price. Beyond this misshap the entire experience was 👍 great we will be back.

Wonderful food, certainly up there with the best. Friendly and helpful young lady taking orders. I had mixed Cashew Seafood Stir Fry. Healthy and tasty. I was just visiting the area, I wish it was my local Thai!
